ACF GCS seeks to expand the industrial base of vendors able to support ACF’s twenty-one (21) program offices. The purpose of this event is to provide industry partners with a roadmap of potential contracting opportunities that are aligned with each respective organization specifically focusing on Fiscal Years 2024–2025. Additionally, this provides industry with strategic planning opportunities to adjust their future planning objectives based on the potential needs of ACF.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Government Contracting Services (GCS), is excited to announce the hosting of an influential and pivotal event, the Advance Planning Briefing for Industry (APBI). This significant gathering is scheduled to take place from Monday, May 6, 2024, to Friday, May 10, 2024, and will be hosted at the HHS Hubert H. Humphrey Building in Washington DC. To ensure inclusivity and broader participation, the event will also offer a virtual attendance option.

The 2024 APBI is themed “Contracts for Change: Empowering Lives, Strengthening Communities”. This event symbolizes a strategic initiative by GCS to broaden the industrial base of vendors capable of reinforcing the mission of ACF’s twenty-one program offices. The core objective of APBI 2024 is to furnish industry partners with a detailed and forward-looking roadmap of prospective contracting opportunities, particularly those aligning with the fiscal objectives for the years 2024–2026. This foresight is intended to offer industry partners crucial strategic planning insights, enabling them to align their future objectives and capacities with the evolving needs of ACF.

GCS primary role is to facilitate an informative briefing by the Government on imminent contracting opportunities.

This approach is designed to enhance the understanding of businesses regarding ACF’s capability requirements, thereby fostering a more responsive and prepared industrial base.

This APBI promises to be a transformative platform, offering unparalleled opportunities for industry partners to align with the Government's vision of empowering lives and strengthening communities through strategic contracting and collaboration.
